Mark Horne

Mark comes from a family of musicians committed to developing their own music practice and that of their children. Mark embraced the musical gene of his family and began guitar lessons at a young age, along with Anthony Harding, under Brett Phillips. Brett Phillips helped the pair refine their musical abilities and gave them an appreciation towards playing and practicing as a group. Mark, Anthony, and Sam played together all through high school and into college, now 20 years ago. Mark’s initiation in playing the guitar at a young age, during a time when guitar heavy grunge style groups broke ground, defines his rhythm focused style. Mark’s creativity lives in his distinct technique and fondness for unique sounds and riffs.

Mark plays a combination of 6 string, 7 string, and 8 string guitars which are tuned towards his perspectives for each song or concept. Mark’s focus towards creating a clear yet innovative sound makes each song he writes a distinct perspective of his craft
