Marino Cliffton
Born in Mexico and raised in Alaska music has been one of the only constants in my life. From a Walkman, to a discman, to an iPod and now a phone. That set of headphones has been my soundtrack and my solace.
Growing up there were always instruments around. It wasn’t until I was 14 and received my first electric guitar that I really began to play. From then till now it has consumed my life.
I was raised in a musically diverse setting but took heavily to classic rock, punk and metal.
I started playing in my first band in high school. Since then Ive played in a variety of punk and metal bands. Most recently Nevermind Eternity and Fail to Reason. Currently with the punk project We Steal Copper.
I met The rest of the crew freshman year of college in Flagstaff. Throughout the years we have formed strong bonds musically and otherwise. Adding to their project has been a cathartic experience, with exciting possibilities for the future.
